A Young Expert Shares Job Application at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) in New Delhi has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Young Professional-I under the project titled "Genetic Modification of Crop Plants for Important Traits." The deadline for application submission is yet to be announced, but interested candidates are encouraged to prepare their applications in advance.
**Eligibility Criteria**
To be eligible for the position, candidates must hold a B.Sc., B.Tech, or Diploma in Agriculture, Botany, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, Biotechnology, or Bioinformatics. The age of candidates should be between 21 and 45 years, with age relaxation applicable as per ICAR norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women candidates.
**Interview Details**
The interview for the position will be held on 15th July 2025 at the LBS Building, Pusa Campus, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi – 110012. Candidates are required to report before 9:30 AM. Those arriving after 10:30 AM will not be considered for the interview.

**Terms and Conditions**
The nature of employment for the position is contractual for one year or until the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The monthly remuneration for the position is Rs. 30,000/-.
Candidates are advised that concealing facts or canvassing will lead to disqualification. Incomplete applications will be rejected. In case of disputes, jurisdiction will lie with the New Delhi Court.
