Aid Efforts Scheduled Towards Month's End
In a series of six events held each year on Saturdays, the Maltesers, a humanitarian organisation, are making a significant impact on the lives of the needy across multiple cities in Germany. The events, named "Feel-Good Morning," are now taking place in Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg, Kiel, Bremen, Neuss, and Solingen.
The event, held at the St. Ursula Gymnasium, offers more than just a meal. It aims to provide a dignified living experience for the needy, offering a high-quality meal between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM, haircuts, pedicures, showers, medical check-ups, and dental care.
Heinz-Richard Heinemann, a Düsseldorf confectioner and a member of the Kuratorium of the Schaffrath Foundation for Social Affairs, is one of the driving forces behind the project. The project leader, Hans Tophofen, oversees the organisation of the event.
The "Feel-Good Morning" project has become a nationwide pilot project, winning a nationwide competition of the Maltesers. It operates through voluntary work and donations, with around 30 helpers of the Maltesers present at each event.
A clothing chamber, organised by former students of the St. Ursula Gymnasium, provides clothing, shoes, and sleeping bags to the visitors. The event is deliberately scheduled at the end of the month, providing much-needed support to those who may be struggling financially.
The "Feel-Good Morning" project is more than just a charitable event. It is a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving the lives of the needy, providing them with the essential services they need to live with dignity.
Despite extensive online searches, specific details about how the "Feel-Good Morning" project operates in each of these cities were not found. However, it is clear that the project is making a significant difference in the lives of many in need across Germany.
