Buggyra Racing & Academy Partner with Oxyrevo for Hyperbaric Recovery
Buggyra Racing and Buggyra Academy have partnered with hyperbaric chamber manufacturer Oxyrevo. The collaboration will see Oxyrevo's chambers used in Aliyyah Koloc's rehabilitation trailers during races like the Dakar Rally and 24H Series. The 19-year-old driver has also been named brand ambassador for Oxyrevo.
Hyperbaric chambers, which provide pure oxygen in a pressurized environment, are known to aid recovery from intense physical efforts in sports. Aliyyah Koloc, who races for Buggyra, uses such a chamber to enhance performance and recover faster due to her demanding schedule. The Buggyra Human Labs project, started in 2018, gathers data in extreme conditions to optimize athlete performance through the NURES® program.
Oxyrevo will supply a hyperbaric chamber, branded in Buggyra Academy colors, for Aliyyah's use. The chamber will be installed in her movable rehabilitation trailers during races. Oxyrevo will also work with Buggyra Academy to gather feedback and data on the use of hyperbaric chambers in harsh racing environments. The multi-year partnership between Buggyra Academy and Oxyrevo aims to improve the quality and speed of recovery for their athletes.
