Critically Ill Anatoly Kashpirovsky Sues Psycholinguist Over Past Criticism
Anatoly Kashpirovsky, once a prominent figure in telehypnosis, is now critically ill with advanced cancer. The news resurfaced recently due to a lawsuit he filed against psycholinguist Tatiana Chernigovskaya for criticising his past methods.
Kashpirovsky's cancer has spread to multiple organs. Despite undergoing radiation therapy, hopes for recovery are slim. The exact details of his treatment and radiotherapy status remain private. In the past, Kashpirovsky had neglected abdominal pain, relying on self-medication until his condition worsened significantly.
Since his return to public life, Kashpirovsky has led several telehypnosis sessions, drawing both curiosity and criticism. He claimed that neurophysiologist Natalia Bechtereva acknowledged his exceptional abilities, though their validity remains scientifically unproven. Chernigovskaya, however, questioned the effectiveness of Kashpirovsky's 'treatments', citing Bechtereva's opinion.
Kashpirovsky is suing Chernigovskaya for 1.4 million rubles, alleging defamation. Despite his legal action, the focus remains on his critical health condition and the ongoing debate surrounding his past practices.
