Cunniff-Dixon Foundation Opens Nominations for 2026 Physician Awards
The Cunniff-Dixon Foundation has announced the opening of nominations for the 2026 Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards. These prestigious awards, co-sponsored by the website for Bioethics, aim to recognise and support physicians who provide exceptional care to patients nearing the end of life.
There are three Early-Career Physician Awards, each offering $15,000 to physicians with up to 10 years of practice. Nominations for these awards will be accepted from October 1, 2025, until January 31, 2026. Additionally, the Dr. Richard Payne Senior Leadership Award, worth $25,000, is open to senior physicians with 15 or more years of practice.
The Cunniff-Dixon Foundation, which funds these awards, is dedicated to enhancing the provider-patient relationship at the end of life. The awards serve as a testament to the outstanding work of physicians in this critical area of healthcare.
Nominations for the 2026 Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards are now open. The foundation encourages submissions from across the medical community to honour those who make a significant difference in end-of-life care. The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2026.
