Dial4242 Raises Rs 9 Crore to Speed Up Ambulance Response Time
Dial4242, a tech-savvy ambulance service, has secured Rs 9 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. The startup, which offers swift emergency response, has partnered with major companies to support gig workers medically.
The funding round was led by IAN Group, with participation from BioAngels, IIM Bangalore's NSRCEL, and other angel investors. The platform, which operates the largest on-demand ambulance network in India, serving over 850 cities, aims to reduce its current turnaround time (TAT) from 12 minutes to under 8 minutes using the raised capital.
Dial4242 will use the funds to strengthen its tech platform, boost trip volumes, launch free ambulance services, and expand its teams. The startup also plans to deepen hospital partnerships and grow its retail user base over the next 12 months. It offers real-time ambulance tracking, automated dispatch, and a 24-hour call center.
With this funding, Dial4242, which has partnered with major companies like Amazon, Zomato, and Swiggy to provide medical support to gig workers, is set to improve its services, expand its reach, and maintain its position as the fastest emergency response service in India.
