Fancy an Unforgettable, Buzzing Experience with a Twist?

Join us for a unique event at the Naturschutzzentrum Bruchhausen in Erkrath-Hochdahl, sponsored by the Alzheimer's Society Düsseldorf! This bee-themed adventure is tailored for those with dementia and their families. Wander through a serene meadow orchard, embracing the comforting buzz of the hardworking bees, the enticing aroma of wax, and the sweet delight of honey.

Gear up with complimentary protective clothing, then roll up your sleeves for a fun beeswax candle-making session! And of course, the star of the show – honey tasting!

This exciting event is a part of the city-funded "Active Living" project and is taking place on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 4 to 6 pm. Best of all? Admission is free!

Don't miss out on this sensory spectacle! Waterproof shoes are recommended, and the meadow's accessible for wheelchair users with assistance. Seating areas and restrooms are available on-site. Navigate to the event by car via the A46, exit Hilden towards Hochdahl.
