Eleven cafes in Krasnoyarsk found using mysterious ingredients in their cooking

Eleven dining establishments in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, have been found using food products of unknown origin, according to the regional branch of Rosselhoznadzor. Many of the affected establishments are based in the city of Krasnoyarsk itself.

Regulations stipulate that restaurants must obtain livestock products with accompanying veterinary documents. However, as reported by Rosselhoznadzor, inspectors found that several quick-service food outlets lacked such documentation or had documents only for a portion of their products. This means that patrons were unknowingly consuming food items of uncertain quality and safety.

The establishments discovered to be in violation include the "E'Da'Ok" pavilion, the "Shashlychnyi Dvorik," the delivery service for sushi and rolls "Yebidoeybi," the Fire Food pavilion, the "Sushi-Ryba" pavilion from Krasnoyarsk, as well as the "Mir" café from Norilsk, the "Khutoryanka" café from Minusinsk, and the "Vse Incluso" café from Duudinka.

Since the beginning of the year, Rosselhoznadzor has identified 47 establishments in total with similar violations. The offenders were issued warnings.

When it comes to food safety, Russia imposes stringent regulations to protect consumers. These regulations involve obtaining necessary certifications from authorized bodies to ensure the safety and quality of food products. Non-compliance with these rules can lead to fines, temporary or permanent business closures, and even criminal charges. The Russian Government has implemented these laws to maintain public trust in the food industry.

In the case of these eleven establishments, they may face monetary fines, temporary or permanent closures, and legal action against their management for disregarding food safety regulations. These measures are designed to uphold consumer safety and public trust in the food industry.

The news article reveals that several dining establishments in Krasnoyarsk, such as the "E'Da'Ok" pavilion and "Shashlychnyi Dvorik," may face fines or closures for using food products of unknown origin, which violates health-and-wellness and food-and-drink regulations. This investigation, led by Rosselhoznadzor, also indicates a lack of compliance with science-based standards related to livestock products, posing a potential risk to consumer health and lifestyle.
