Enhanced Participation and Vitality Taking Hold in Oberhausen!
In a significant move aimed at promoting inclusion and strengthening local healthcare, a new pair of working groups - the Self-Active AG and the Health AG - have been established within the Social Democratic Party (SPD) branch in the city.
The launch of these groups was made possible by the attendance and active support of all comrades, including Karl-Heinz Müller, the Deputy Chair of the City Council, and Thorsten Berg, the SPD Mayor Candidate.
Nicole Kopp-Czech, who is also the Chair of Self-Active AG, and Thomas Hassa, the Chair of the Health AG, played pivotal roles in the establishment of these groups. The Self-Active AG, under Kopp-Czech's leadership, focuses on promoting genuine barrier-free access, self-determined participation, and a city that considers all people.
On the other hand, the Health AG, chaired by Hassa, focuses on local supply, prevention, care, mental health, and fair working conditions in healthcare. However, more specific details about the objectives and focus areas of these working groups are yet to be officially communicated.
Thorsten Berg, the SPD Mayor Candidate, was present and actively supported the work of the Self-Active and Health working groups. He expressed his belief that these groups would play a crucial role in shaping a more inclusive and health-conscious city.
Karl-Heinz Müller, a member of the City Council Board, also wished success for the Self-Active and Health working groups, emphasizing their importance in fostering a healthier and more inclusive community.
Despite the heat, the launch of the working groups took place, marking a significant step towards a more inclusive and health-conscious city. The local branch is optimistic about the potential impact of these groups and looks forward to seeing their progress.
As more information about the specific objectives and focus areas of these working groups becomes available, we will keep you updated. Stay tuned for more updates from your local SPD branch.
