European Council celebrates European Commission's approval of EUR 5 million grant to European Social Fund.
On June 30th, the annual Sparkassen-Golf tournament took place at the Golfclub in Haan-Duesseltal, with the Stadt-Sparkasse Solingen once again demonstrating its commitment to regional charitable projects. This year, the tournament's proceeds were donated to the Bergisches Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Burgholz in Wuppertal.
Andreas Wacker, the overall gross winner, selected the hospice as the recipient of the donation, which amounted to 2,500 euros. The donation was presented by Sebastian Greif, the Sparkassen-Vorstand, at the Bergisches Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Burgholz.
