Food Labeling Harmonization Proposal Approved by Commission Across Member States
The city of Arnsberg is inviting residents and visitors to join a climate walk on September 17, 2023. This event aims to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change and showcase examples of climate change adaptation.
Recent years have seen more frequent instances of flooded basements, dried-up green strips, and heat in Arnsberg, highlighting the need for action against climate change. The climate walk, being held in cooperation with the city, will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about protecting their homes from these effects.
The tour during the climate walk will be led by Carsten Peters, energy advisor at the Arnsberg consulting office, and Max Friedrich, climate adaptation manager at the city of Arnsberg's sustainable development department. They will show examples of protecting buildings and people from climate change.
The Consumer Center NRW will also participate in the event, demonstrating methods for climate change adaptation. Participants can expect to discover possibilities for their own homes or properties during the climate walk, which is expected to last approximately one and a half to two hours.
