Walk-in Interview Announcement for Young Professional-II and Young Professional-I Positions at ICAR-IARI
The Division of Fruits & Horticultural Technology at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, is conducting a Walk-in-Interview for the posts of Young Professional-II (YP-II) and Young Professional-I (YP-I) under the PPV & FRA funded project "DUS Centre for Lemon and Pummelo".
Young Professional-II (YP-II) Position
The application process for the YP-II position requires submitting an offline application through the ICAR IARI website. The last date to apply is 13th August 2025. Candidates must download the application form from the ICAR IARI official website or relevant notification links, complete it, and submit it offline (by post or in person). Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview, which may be conducted physically or online.
Candidates must bring original documents for verification on the day of the interview. The maximum age limit for men is 35 years, and for women is 40 years. Candidates must report by 9:30 AM, and those reporting after 10:30 AM will not be considered. The interview date is 8th September 2025, and the venue is the Division of Fruits & Horticultural Technology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.

Young Professional-I (YP-I) Position
The essential qualification for the YP-I post is an M.Sc. in Horticulture. The desirable qualification is an M.Sc. in Horticulture (Fruit Science) with thesis work on fruit crops. The position is temporary and contractual, initially for one year or project duration, and the emoluments for the YP-I post is Rs. 42,000 (Fixed). Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India/ICAR rules. There is one vacancy for the post of YP-I.
The required documents to be submitted as a single PDF include a date of birth certificate, educational certificates and mark sheets starting from matriculation onwards, NET or equivalent certificate (if applicable), proof of relevant work experience, publications (if any), No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer (if employed), and a declaration form (usually provided with the application package).
