Lena Gercke's negotiations with DHDL:

In a series of exciting developments, the founders of Nalu, Max Schöon and Lisa Ippolito, have seen their fruit gummy venture soar to new heights. After their appearance on "Die Höhle der Löwen" (DHDL), the duo has secured significant investments and undergone a modern rebranding.

The projected annual turnover of at least 180,000 euros has been exceeded, with Max Schöon, Life partner and co-founder of Nalu, having already quit his job to be fully committed to the joint venture. This surge in orders can be attributed to the DHDL episode featuring Nalu, which has been streamable for a few days, resulting in a surge of orders.

The founders' pitch was met with enthusiasm from investors Janna Ensthaler and guest lion Lena Gercke, who had already joined forces and were ready to invest the requested 100,000 euros. Lena Gercke and Janna Ensthaler have officially invested 125,000 euros in Nalu, with Lena Gercke providing social media tutoring to the Nalu team as well.

The Nalu team has rebranded their design, making it more modern with larger letters and a colorful but less childish appearance. This new packaging sets Nalu apart from any similar product in German supermarkets as of yet. Max Schöon, co-founder of Nalu, mentioned that they had to restock due to the increased orders.

However, during the pitch, the founders were criticized by some lions for their reserved, humble manner and low budgeted turnover for the first year. Some lions saw "red flags" at these points and opted out. Despite this, the founders have shown resilience and have not let these criticisms deter them from their mission.

Co-founder Lisa Ippolito continues to study and cannot devote herself full-time to the company. The third investor that the founders gained after their appearance on DHDL was guest investor Lena Gercke, alongside Janna Ensthaler; the two investors secured a deal with the founders Lisa Bella Ippolito and Max Schön. The founders, however, wanted 20 percent instead of the offered ten.

In the near future, short videos featuring Lena Gercke will be published by Nalu. This partnership promises to bring even more excitement and growth to the Nalu brand. With their natural, sugar-free fruit gummies and a dedicated team, the future looks bright for Nalu.
