Oberhausen Fire Department Responds to Multi-Vehicle Accident with Six Injuries

On April 16, 2025, at 15:12, the Oberhausen fire department rushed to a traffic accident on Osterfelder Street. The incident involved three cars and left six people with minor injuries. The fire chief or designated commander led the response in the command vehicle.

Both the eCall system of an involved vehicle and an affected person alerted the fire department's control center. Upon arrival, firefighters found four individuals requiring immediate medical attention. These individuals were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Firefighters swiftly secured the scene and provided initial care to the injured. They also worked to absorb spilled hazardous materials, ensuring the safety of both rescue workers and the public. The Oberhausen fire department remained on the scene for approximately an hour, managing the aftermath of the accident.

The accident on Osterfelder Street on April 16, 2025, resulted in six minor injuries and required the response of the Oberhausen fire department. The fire chief or designated commander led the operation, with firefighters providing initial care, securing the scene, and absorbing hazardous materials.
