Ongoing Recovery Process
The Rhineland-Kreis Neuss district has provided important updates regarding the COVID-19 situation in the area. As of now, there are 205 confirmed cases of the virus, with 64 residents of Neuss, 30 from Dormagen, 26 from Grevenbroich, 25 from Meerbusch, 20 from Kaarst, 17 from Jüchen, 14 from Korschenbroich, and 9 from Rommerskirchen currently infected.
Sadly, the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss area remains at six. However, there is some good news as 263 individuals have recovered from the virus. It is important to note that currently, 693 persons are in quarantine as suspected cases, as recommended by the district health department.
For those seeking more information, the district health department has set up a hotline for important questions. The number is 02181/601-7777 and is available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, and on weekends from 9 am to 6 pm.
