Police officials apprehend a man for charges of sexual abuse and physical violence.

In a series of disturbing incidents, a 34-year-old man, identified as a Polish national, has been apprehended by the Federal Police in connection with assaults against women at Berlin's Ostbahnhof and Warschauer Straße stations.

The first assault occurred at Ostbahnhof around 1:30 PM on Monday, where the man is suspected of assaulting a 21-year-old German woman. The second incident took place at Warschauer Straße around 6:45 PM, where the man allegedly struck a 26-year-old German woman on the back of her neck without warning.

Federal police officers identified the suspect based on his clothing and secured video footage of the incidents, which allowed them to recognise him. The man was taken into custody at the scene, but after completing all necessary measures, he was released from the station.
