The Landshuter Action Days, taking place from 13th to 15th October 2025, mark a significant milestone as they commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Psychiatry Enquiry. This event, organised by the Psychiatry Enquiry of the Regional Steering Consortium Landshut, aims to bring mental illnesses in everyday life closer to citizens.

The festivities kick off with a celebration on 13th October at 5:30 PM in Kinopolis Landshut. The keynote speech at the opening ceremony will provide a balance and outlook on 50 years of Psychiatry Enquiry. Unfortunately, the name of the keynote speaker is not yet disclosed.

Throughout the three days, various events are planned to engage and educate attendees about mental health. Dr. Christoph Loeffler, a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, will give an impulse lecture on the topic. The showing of "The Son" is organised by the Working Group Children and Youth, and will take place on 14th October at 7:30 PM, with a cost contribution of 8 euros.

On the same day, a British-French family drama, "The Son", will be shown at 7:30 PM in Kinopolis, with a cost contribution of 8 euros. Following the theater performance, a dialogue round is planned.

The theater performance "All That Beauty" takes place on Thursday, 16th October at 6:00 PM in Salzstadel Landshut. The Danish feature film "The Rausch" will be shown at 7:30 PM on 15th October, with a cost contribution of 8 euros. This film is chosen by the Working Group on Addiction.

The goals of the psychiatric reform, which continue to this day, include improvements in medical treatment, psychosocial accompaniment, and institutional changes. In Bavaria, these goals are pursued through the Bavarian Psychiatry Plans. Psychosocial working groups and regional steering consortia were founded to improve planning and coordination on a regional level.

Admission to the opening celebration and the theater performances is free, thanks to donations and sponsors. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this important milestone and engaging in discussions about mental health. Let's work together towards a more understanding and supportive society.
