She went on to earn a Master's degree in English from Punjab University, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to education.

Her dedication to this cause led her to receive the 7th NCPEDP-Mphasis Universal Award in 2016, a significant recognition of her work.
In August 2016, Divya was honoured with the Award of Honour from National Fertilizers Limited, another testament to her achievements. This was followed by the Punjab State Award in the same year, an accolade that recognised her exceptional contributions.
However, the pinnacle of Divya's journey came on December 3, 2023, when she was honoured with the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. The prestigious award was presented by the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, making it a personal triumph for Divya.
