Recognized as a Top Workplace in Europe for 2014: ADECCO
For over a decade, our group has been committed to fostering a high-trust and engaging workplace culture, as confirmed by Mark De Smedt, our Chief Human Resources Officer. This dedication has recently been rewarded, with our group earning the 19th position in the list of the top 25 multinational companies that excel in creating a consistent, high-trust workplace culture across national borders.
Great Place to Work®, a global research, consulting, and training firm, is responsible for producing these prestigious rankings. The organization began its journey in Brazil over 20 years ago, and later launched the first Best Companies to Work For list in conjunction with Fortune magazine in the United States. Today, Great Place to Work® recognizes workplaces in nearly 50 countries on all continents.
Our group embarked on the Great Place to Work project back in 2004, and today, they are proud to have reached this important milestone in 7 countries. The annual ranking by Great Place to Work® is the most comprehensive study of organizational culture in the world, with more than 7,000 companies participating in the survey each year.
In this year's edition, Great Place to Work® analyzed data from over 2,300 companies. The organizations featured in the complete report represent the 100 Best, divided into three size categories: The 25 Best Multinational Workplaces, The 25 Best Large Workplaces (with more than 500 employees), and The 50 Best Small & Medium Workplaces (with between 50 and 500 employees).
Our group's success can be attributed to its diverse and fun work environment, as reported by its employees. The Company is recognized for its values of credibility, fairness, respect, camaraderie, and pride, as indicated by a survey completed by 4,405 employees in 7 European countries.
Mark De Smedt emphasized that the Company's focus on employee engagement has been relentless for over 10 years. He believes that this specific condition fosters innovation, commitment, and emotional engagement, driving both employee retention and business performance.
Great Place to Work® studies have shown that high-trust workplaces like ours lead to increased productivity, lower turnover rates, and better financial performance. Our group is honoured to be recognized for its efforts and will continue to strive for excellence in creating a great workplace for its employees.
