In a concerning development, doctors in the German state of Saxony have witnessed a significant increase in skin cancer diagnoses.
According to health insurance company Barmer, the number of black skin cancer cases between 2005 and 2023 has almost doubled, with 16,800 diagnoses in 2023 alone.
