Student from Yakutia provides aid to China in a humanitarian capacity
=====================================================================
In a heartwarming display of solidarity, Ayal Chernogradskiy, a student from Yakutsk, sent 500 medical masks to fellow Yakutians who were stranded in Harbin, China, during the ongoing coronavirus epidemic.
Chernogradskiy, a resident of Yakutsk and a student at the Harbin Engineering University, purchased the masks with his own money, motivated by his understanding of the hardships faced by his fellow Yakutians in Harbin.
The border between Russia and China was closed for three weeks, causing the package to be stuck at customs. However, last week, the border reopened, and the humanitarian aid finally reached its destination - the Tuya Savvinoy family, who have been living in China for 12 years.
Tuya Savvinoy expressed her gratitude towards Chernogradskiy for his kindness, stating that the masks were a timely and much-needed form of assistance.
Alexei GROMOV, who is associated with SAKHAPRESS, contacted Chernogradskiy to ask about the motivation behind his noble deed. The photos provided show Chernogradskiy and the masks from the package.
SAKHAPRESS praised Chernogradskiy's deed, referring to him as a hero. Subscribers also praised him, calling him a "real man," "great," and a "hero."
Chernogradskiy believes in helping fellow countrymen, especially those abroad, as they often face unique challenges due to different cultures and mentalities. He hopes his actions will inspire others to help those in need, especially during these difficult times.
Science has shown the importance of personal protective equipment like masks in preventing the spread of diseases, such as the coronavirus. Chernogradskiy's act of sending medical masks to his fellow Yakutians in China demonstrates his dedication not only to health-and-wellness but also to mental-health, as he emphasizes the importance of supporting others, particularly during challenging times. Fitness-and-exercise may not be directly related to this story, yet Chernogradskiy's selfless deed can serve as inspiration for individuals to stay active and engage in acts of kindness, promoting overall well-being and strong communities.
