Technical Assistance Position Available at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) in New Delhi is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Project Technical Support-I under the ICMR Intermediate Grant project titled "Indigenized low-cost coconut milk-based low-protein diet". This project aims to develop a low-cost, indigenous diet using coconut milk to manage Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) in conditions like organic acidemias and urea cycle disorders.
**Position Details**
The ideal candidate should hold a three-year graduate degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Biochemistry, or allied disciplines. A minimum of one year of work experience in a relevant subject is necessary. Desirable experience includes novel product development, biochemical techniques, and biostatistics.
**Recruitment Process**
The recruitment process will be through a walk-in interview. The interview will take place on the 7th of July 2025, at the NRL Building, Division of Food Science and Post-Harvest Technology, ICAR-IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi – 110012. Candidates are advised to report before 10:00 AM, as interview times will be allotted after certificate verification.
**Nature of Employment**
The position is purely contractual, initially for one year or until the project duration ends, whichever is earlier. The employment may be extended annually based on satisfactory performance.
