Three individuals charged for the acts of sexual assault and blackmail against a staff member of the Delhi High Court.
A 31-year-old staff member of the Delhi High Court has lodged a police complaint against three men, including a north Delhi coaching centre employee, for allegedly sexually assaulting her multiple times since 2018. The case was registered at the Timarpur police station last week, following renewed threats from the accused.
The main accused, a coaching centre employee in his 30s, is alleged to have offered the complainant a spiked drink at his apartment in north Delhi, after which he, along with his brother and a friend, raped her and recorded the act to extort her. The assaults are said to have occurred on multiple occasions, both in Delhi and Ghaziabad.
The Delhi Police have confirmed the registration of the FIR and are actively pursuing the inquiry based on the complainant's statement. At least three men have been booked in connection with this case. The DCP (north), Raja Banthia, has confirmed the registration of the case.
The complainant has known the main accused since 2017, as she joined his coaching centre to prepare for a competitive exam.
