New Hyperice Contrast 2 Knee Offers Revolutionary Hot and Cold Therapy

Hyperice, a leading brand in recovery technology, has launched the Hyperice Contrast 2 Knee – a groundbreaking device that delivers electronic contrast therapy for effective knee recovery. This all-in-one system alternates between heat and cold every 5 minutes, providing a powerful solution for managing muscle soreness and strains.

The Contrast 2 Knee builds upon the success of the Hyperice X Knee, offering five levels of compression, reaching up to 160 mmHg. This aids thermal penetration and provides a customized fit. The device can operate on maximum heat and cold settings for up to 1.5 hours and 1 hour respectively, demonstrating its strong and sustained thermal output.

Users can manually switch between hot and cold or use the contrast mode, which does this automatically. The cold therapy provides consistent, soothing relief, while the heat feels like a warm blanket, intensifying when combined with compression. The device uses thermoelectric systems to deliver heat and cold without the need for ice packs or hot water bottles, making it quieter and more convenient than traditional packs.

The Contrast 2 Knee shares similarities in ease of use with the Normatec Lower Legs and Normatec Premier. It features a simple OLED screen with three clearly marked buttons, ensuring a user-friendly experience. The retail price for both devices is £399 each, and they will be available for purchase at hyperice.com from 15 September.

In addition to the Contrast 2 Knee, Hyperice has also launched the Contrast 2 Shoulder as part of their new Contrast range. The Contrast 2 Shoulder is designed for those with sore, stiff delts. Both devices are part of Hyperice's commitment to providing innovative solutions for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

The Contrast 2 Knee can get really hot (up to 49°C) and really cold (down to 4°C), making it an effective tool for preparing and recovering from workouts. Users have reported achieving new Personal Bests (PBs) after using the device before a heavy squat session and after, for knee preparation and recovery. The device can be easily carried in the Built For Athletes Backpack, making it a convenient addition to any workout routine.

In summary, the Hyperice Contrast 2 Knee is a robust device for managing knee recovery through controlled hot and cold compression therapy. Its unique features, ease of use, and powerful performance make it a valuable tool for anyone looking to enhance their fitness journey.
