Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, haven't shied away from sharing their dreams of having a child together. The couple, who have already embarked on their infertility journey, recently received some incredible news that left them beaming with joy.
On Monday, Bunnie shared a moving video on Instagram, her eyes brimming with tears as she celebrated a "huge win" in their ongoing IVF journey. In the post, she thanked God for answering their prayers, concluding, "Praise Jesus."
Fans, initially mistaking the post for a pregnancy announcement, were left in a frenzy, prompting Bunnie to clear the air in the comment section. "This is not a pregnancy announcement—we won't announce that," she confirmed, adding, "This is just a huge huge win for us."
Last year, Bunnie and Jelly Roll declared their intentions to grow their family through IVF. Bunnie is a stepmom to Jelly Roll's two kids from previous relationships – Bailee Ann, 16, who they share full custody of, and the more private eight-year-old, Noah, who is largely kept out of the limelight out of respect for his mother, Melisa.
Sharing the journey publicly and acknowledging the numerous obstacles they've faced during their IVF process, Bunnie revealed, "We had planned on doing this privately, but decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we've always been so open. And w/ all odds stacked against us, it's already been hard and we have only just begun. We have been meeting with IVF doctors & exploring all our options to add to our family."
In July 2023, Bunnie spoke more about the ups and downs of their IVF journey on her podcast, Dumb Blonde. "This [IVF] journey, I feel like I've accomplished so much in my life. And the only thing that's left is to raise a baby and garden. I'm in my baby mama (and) gardening era," she shared.
The couple plans to delay implantation until February 2025 and is considering having twins or opting for a single baby. Regarding their approach, Bunnie shared, "We're on the fence of having twins. We think we want to have twin boys. I’m not sure; we could have one, we could have two. We don't know what we're going to do yet."
