Zero-Point Chili Recipe by Weight Watchers!
In this article, we'll be sharing a fantastic Weight Watchers chili recipe that can be prepared using a pressure cooker, Instant Pot, or a slow cooker. This chili recipe is not only filling and delicious but also a great choice for those following the Weight Watchers programme.
The main ingredient of this chili is 99% fat-free ground chicken or turkey. To create this flavourful dish, you'll also need kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, tomato sauce, a variety of spices, including cumin, oregano, chili powder, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, diced onion, and a lime.
For those on the Freestyle or My WW Blue program, this chili recipe has ZERO points. For those not on the Freestyle program, the chili has 7 points on the Green Plan, 5 points on the Old Points system, and 7 points on SmartPoints.
To prepare the chili in a slow cooker, start by sautéing the diced onion with fat-free cooking spray. Once softened, add the browned ground lean meat. Next, pour in the kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, tomato sauce, cumin, oregano, chili powder, minced garlic, diced onion, and lime juice.
Cook the chili in a slow cooker on high for 3 1/2 - 4 hours. If you prefer, you can serve the chili hot, adding any desired garnishments such as tortilla chips, chives, reduced fat cheese, or light sour cream.
For those who prefer a quicker cooking method, the chili can also be prepared in a pressure cooker or Instant Pot. The recipe card and a video demonstrating how the chili is made can be found by scrolling down.
It's worth noting that while this chili recipe is a great base, you can customise it by adding additional vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, corn, zucchini, and more. However, keep in mind that these additions may add points if they are not zero point foods.
The Crock-Pot 6qt 8-in-1 Multi-Use Express Crock Programmable Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker is recommended for use, but any slow cooker or pressure cooker should work just fine.
Enjoy this filling and delicious Weight Watchers chili recipe, and happy cooking!
